THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!

We hope you can join us for the 18th annual Tri for a Cure taking place Sunday, July 20, 2025. Our online volunteer registration site has closed. WE WELCOME YOU to come down to the Volunteer Tent at Southern Maine Community College on Sunday to register on-site for 'Help Where Needed' between the hours of 6:15am - 9:00am. We recommend walking or biking in if you live in the area, as roads in the area will be limiting traffic or closed. Most of our volunteer opportunities will require walking or standing.

It takes more than 500 dedicated volunteers to make Tri for a Cure happen and we wouldn't have had a record breaking year without your help! You make TRI a fun, safe, and exciting day for the wonderful women participating.

Here are a few details about volunteering.

  • Expo Day is Saturday, July 19 and Race Day is Sunday, July 20. There are opportunities to volunteer on each (or both!) days.
  • The event will go on RAIN OR SHINE.
  • Wear comfortable shoes, bring sun block, hat, rain gear, water bottle and extra snacks.
  • We will provide snacks and water.  If you have special food needs, please bring them with you.
  • We will do our best to assign you to the job you requested.  We have over 500 jobs to fill so we are hoping you are flexible.
  • Please let us know about any limitations you have regarding walking distances or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Your most important job on race day is to support the athletes.  Clapping, cheering & words of encouragement are needed from you to show your support.
